DC Comics has been making a great start in 2019 with some amazing comics making it to the shelves. DC popularity has never been greater with superhero movies making it to the big screen and a huge collection making it to the small screens and with DC Wonder Comics launching amazing unique series such as Naomi and Young Justice, there was never a more perfect time to jump on board.

The Terrifics is truly an odd bunch of characters united due to a tragic accident. Even though “Odd bunch” can be translated as something bad and in the hands of Jeff Lemire and Ivan Reis it can be something wonderful.

Straight out of DC’s Nights: Metal, The Terrifics have their debut with a great adventure, action and comedy story that will make you feel excited at the very least. Don’t worry if you are unfamiliar with the characters, things are quite easy to enjoy even for someone new.

There is no surprise seeing Vertigo creating another great comic series. Hex Wives is shaping up to be one of the Vertigo’s must read new series. Blacker’s story is ingenious with engaging characters. Accompanied with Andolfo’s vibrant and gore art might be one of the best vertigo series of 2019.

American Carnage is another Vertigo diamond that is setting up to be one of the years best comic series.

American Carnage tackles real life issues with an amazingly clever story and characters that have great backstory and are easy to learn. What is even more amazing is that the story might as well be based in real life events.

Disgraced FBI agent Richard Wright gets a chance for redemption by infiltrating a white supremacist group that is believed to have killed a fellow FBI agent.

Warning: Serious cliffhanger at the end!
