Jessica Jones Season 3 Trailer

Netflix released the trailer for the third and final season of the lone Marvel series in the Netflix platform, Jessica Jones.

Someone is watching Jessica Jones and wants her dead. For the comic readers out there the villain is not such a mystery. Known as Foolkiller (portrayer by Jeremy Bobb) who is a known anti-hero in the Marvel universe.

Even though the name is the same, the Netflix trailer doesn't really portray Foolkiller the same way the comics do, which makes us think that maybe there is a twist in the character or just they didn't want to betray a lot with their trailer.

In any case we are looking forward binging the series on the 14th of June and in the even bigger picture we look forward for the Disney+ platform that will once again bring the series that were cancelled later this year from the Netflix platform.

Stay tuned for a series review.

The Umbrella Academy Netflix Teaser Trailer

Netflix has released today, the teaser trailer for "The Umbrella Academy" and we couldn't be more thrilled with the news.

As fans of the Umbrella Academy since it's early days as a Graphic Novel written by Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá, seeing it on our "small" screens in a few months is something we dreamed of for quite a while.

If we could give you a small description of what "The Umbrella Academy" is all about then we believe that the description that Netflix chose for the series is pretty spot on.

This is a story of a Super. Dysfunctional. Family and how they cope with various issues while they are entrusted to save the world.

'Nough said. So let's jump into the trailer.

Let's break it down a little bit and see who plays who in the series.

"Daredevil" Series Canceled at Netflix after Three Seasons

"Daredevil" series cancelation from Netflix after its third season comes with little to no surprise to most of the show's fans and to those who follow the industry news.

With recent Marvel series cancelations such as "Iron Fist" and "Luke Cage" and with the new Disney streaming service coming up it feels as if this might be a strategic move to pull all content from other platforms and incorporate them within their own.

“Marvel’s Daredevil will not return for a fourth season on Netflix,” Netflix spokesperson said in a statement at Deadline “We are tremendously proud of the show’s last and final season and although it’s painful for the fans, we feel it best to close this chapter on a high note.”We’re thankful to our partners at Marvel, showrunner Erik Oleson, the show’s writers, stellar crew and incredible cast including Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself, and we’re grateful to the fans who have supported the show over the years.”

Netflix's Spokesperson also mentioned that

“While the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel.”

Jon Cryer to play Lex Luthor in CW's "Supergirl" series

From playing the nephew of Lex Luthor back in 1987 at the final Christopher Reeve Superman movie to portraying the man himself at CW’s Supergirl. Jon Cryer is climbing the ladder of the Luthor family and we couldn’t be happier.

As Supergirl executive producer Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller mentioned “We are enormous fans of Jon Cryer, and he was instantly our dream actor to play the iconic role of Lex Luthor. Jon is a super-talent, and the fact that he played Lenny Luthor in Superman IV brings an added layer of legacy to his casting. We’re beyond thrilled to welcome Jon to the Supergirl family.”

Even though Cryer was in his early stages when he portrayed Luthor’s nephew back in 87, he then went on winning everyone’s hearts with his amazing acting in various tv shows such as Hot Shots!, The Famous Teddy Z, Getting Personal  and lest we forget his most notable work Two and a Half Men.

Having said that Cryer is not new in the history of DC and even though he only played in person the nephew of Lex Luthor he also gave the voice to Felix Faust numerous times on Cartoon Network’s Justice League Action.

Cryer will make his debut in the show’s 15th episode this season.

marvel the defendersEver since The Defenders Season 1 debut in August 2017, Marvel's fans started talking about The Defenders season 2 and the more the gossip grew the responses were not so promising with big media sites saying that a season 2 is never going to happen.

Defenders fans, rejoice!

In an interview done by Entertainment Weekly, Jeph Loeb said and I quote, "all we've ever said is that there are no plans right now [to do more]. It doesn’t mean that it’s off the table.".

More than that Loeb mentioned, "It doesn’t mean that it even has to be with the original characters that were in the first Defenders".

From our point of view, Marvel has heard the community and they are ready to invest in another season of Defenders. Stay tuned for more news about The Defenders Season 2.
