Invaders #1 has caught our attention for quite a while now and after reading it it made perfect candidate for our review list.
Chip Zdarsky made it possible to blend past and present with this amazing first issue of the new Invaders series and together with the great art of Butch Guice this issue took looks and feels dark and mature, as you would expect from a story taking place in its majority, in events that happened during WWII.
The talent behind Invaders has beautifully managed to set the pillars for what is to follow by creatively placing Namor as the villain and the protagonist of the series.
Zdarsky cleverly using a continues narrative catches us up with the current position of all Invaders and slightly explains the connections between them which are, as it seems, one of the most important aspects of the series.
It seems that Invaders masterfully passes the message of how
Invaders #1 is a strong first issue with a well placed twist. If you are a fan of Captain America, Winter Soldier, Namor or the original Human Torch then the Invaders might be your jam.
