★Aspiring Astronaut Evelyn Atlas can no longer resist the calling of the stars. Determined, Eve hatches a plan to achieve her dream of building a rocket, but there’s one small problem... she needs cash, lots of it! Luckily Eve may have found a way to get just that. Living in a town steeped in the supernatural the only thing she needs to get started is a camera and someone with deep pockets, but after being caught in a store robbery can she survive to get it? ★

Introduction

I don’t usually do previews. I take a lot of pride in my reviews because I get to put a personal touch on each one. And when I can’t, I get creative—check Zombie Date Night. When it comes to previews though, I believe since this newsletter is focused on indie creators they’re a powerful way to help them get the spotlight they deserve. And Bears Brian is a prodigy. Both the story and the art of Banana Blitz! come from his own hand (and mind), and if that’s not enough, it’s genuinely outstanding. So—let the 1-on-1 Comics previews commence.

Preview

I really enjoyed reading the first few pages. I liked the storytelling and loved the art, which pushed me to dig a little deeper into Bears_Brian’s work (a bit of casual online stalking, as one does).
