Hey bub,

If you caught yesterday’s update, you’ll know I’ve decided to shake things up a bit. Going forward, I’m giving a lot more space in this newsletter to the folks who need it most—indie creators. Mainstream comics already have huge communities, tons of attention, and dedicated followings behind them. They’re doing just fine.

That’s not to say I don’t love the big names and the talented people behind them—I absolutely do. But since day one, my mission has always been to support indie creators however I can. Giving them more visibility here is just me staying true to that goal.

That said, not everything is changing. I’ll still be covering major news from the mainstream side of the industry, because that stuff matters too. It impacts everyone, and I know a lot of you come here for those updates as well. So the first part of the newsletter will stay just the way it is.
